How to grow
Sow Savoy cabbage seeds thinly in prepared drills outdoors from March to June, in rows that are 60cm apart. Cover with soil and keep the area damp throughout germination. When the seedlings become established, thin them to leave the strongest plant every 50cm. Keep the growing site moist and weed free. Will do best in full sun. Savoy cabbage can withstand some frost, meaning it can stay outdoors for quite some time, and be harvested over autumn or winter.
