Premium 12/14 Sir Winston Churchill bulbs. Several fragrant, creamy-white double flowers per stem, with small orange segments interspersed through the centres. Flowers spring. Reaches about 35–40cm. Best in full sun or partial shade and moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Ideal for borders, containers and cut flowers.
The display
Each stem can carry several richly scented, creamy-white double flowers touched with orange at the centre. Plant it near paths, doors or seating where its fragrance can be enjoyed, and allow a few stems for spring vases.

Planting advice
Plant during September–November with the growing point uppermost where it is visible. Set the bulbs or corms approximately 10–15cm deep and 10cm apart. Choose full sun or partial shade in moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Water after planting if the soil is dry, but avoid ground that remains waterlogged.
Aftercare
After flowering, remove spent blooms if desired and leave the foliage in place for at least six weeks, or until it yellows naturally. Established clumps can be divided when flowering begins to decline.

Planting & Care
When & Where to Plant
Plant from September to November in full sun or partial shade. Choose moderately fertile soil that stays reasonably moist in spring but drains well through winter.
Spacing & Depth
- Plant pointed end upwards at 10–15cm deep.
- Allow 10cm between bulbs.
- For natural-looking displays, scatter bulbs and plant them where they fall.
Containers & Naturalising
Daffodils grow well in pots, borders and grass. In lawns, delay mowing until the foliage has yellowed and died back. Avoid permanently wet sites.

Sir Winston Churchill carries several fragrant double flowers per stem. A sheltered position helps protect its multi-headed stems and keeps the flowers suitable for cutting.
After Flowering
Deadhead spent blooms, but do not cut or tie the leaves. Allow at least six weeks for the foliage to die back naturally. Congested clumps can be lifted and divided after flowering.
