How to grow

Green Calabrese Broccoli can be started indoors from March. Using seedling modules or small pots, sow a pinch of Broccoli seed in each module or pot. Once the seedlings are established, thin to leave only the strongest one in each module or pot. Transplant seedlings to their final spot when the risk of frost has passed. Alternatively, sow directly outdoors in shallow drills when the risk of frost has passed. Sprinkle the seed thinly in the drills, and cover with 1cm of soil. Once the seedlings are established, thin to leave only the strongest plant every 50cm. Harvesting should be done just before the plant’s yellow flowers bloom.
