How to grow
Sow your Kale seeds thinly, directly outdoors in rows that are 70cm apart and cover with 1.5cm of damp soil. After about 6 weeks, when the plants are established, thin them to leave a spacing of 50cm between each plant. After this, Kale does not need much maintenance as it is very strong. During winter, as the nights become colder and frosty, Westland winter Kale becomes sweeter in taste. Harvest Kale as you need it over winter. Kale seeds can also be sown to be grown just for its baby leaves all the way until late autumn.
