How to grow
Cucumber Telegraph Improved can be started indoors from March. Using small pots or a seedling module, sow one seed per module or pot. When the seedlings are established and frost risk has passed, transplant them to their final spot. Alternatively, sow directly outdoors from May onwards. Cucumber enjoys heat and will grow best in a greenhouse or polytunnel. It will also benefit if the vines are supported, this helps the fruits to hang, and grow straight. Start picking the cucumbers when they become 10-15 centimetres in length. Frequent harvesting will keep the plant productive.
