Plant in autumn with the growing point uppermost, approximately about 15cm deep and about 10cm apart. Choose full sun; sheltered position preferred with fertile, well-drained soil. Water after planting if the soil is dry. After flowering, allow the foliage to die back naturally so the bulb or corm can replenish its reserves.
