Just Grow Bone Meal Organic Fertiliser Pellets are a phosphorus-rich organic feed designed especially for planting, root establishment, flowers and fruit.

With an NPK analysis of 6-4-1, bone meal provides both nitrogen and a comparatively strong phosphorus contribution. It is particularly useful when establishing bulbs, roses, fruit trees, shrubs, perennials and other new plantings.

Ideal for bulbs

Bone meal is a particularly useful companion to tulips, daffodils, alliums and other autumn- or spring-planted bulbs. Incorporating it into the surrounding soil at planting provides slow-release phosphorus in the root zone as the bulb establishes.

Also suitable for

Roses, fruit trees and bushes, root vegetables, flowering plants, shrubs, perennials and general new planting where good root establishment is a priority.

Application rates

• General flowers and vegetables: 100g per m².
• Fast-growing plants: 200g per m².
• Trees, shrubs, roses and hedges: 300g per m².

For new planting, mix the pellets into the surrounding soil rather than leaving a concentrated layer directly against roots or bulbs. For established plants, scatter around the root zone, lightly fork into the surface and water well.

For general feeding, apply while plants are actively growing from March to September. Bone meal is also particularly useful during autumn bulb planting.

Which pack size do I need?

The 1kg pack suits bulb planting and smaller gardens; 5kg is useful for larger borders and productive gardens; 10kg suits allotments, larger planting projects and regular growers.
